The instructions were made for this age group to be able to follow. This was the first experience of this type for my nephew, so he may have taken a little longer than others would. He still plays with it and spends a long time with it. Now with this addition he is able to play with his favorite character, Spiderman. Also it comes with a couple of really cool vehicles and he loves them! Being a \"Juniors\" set it is super easy to build and follow the instructions. The kids won't have any trouble following the guide. Since this is the first Juniors set I buy, I was afraid that the pieces wouldn't be compatible with the other lego sets but after researching I realized they are. Now my son is able to expand his Spiderman set with other pieces from the Lego Classic set, which will add much more fun!
