This was the perfect set for him! The eagle is what he built first, and still has put together. While I like that he CAN build 2 more things, I am not sure if he actually will haha. For those unaware, a 3 in 1 means it comes with instructions for 3 different models, but only enough pieces to make 1 at a time. I don't normally build the alternate models because they can be a little disappointing compared to the main model, but for review purposes I forced myself.
