It has really good brick and build time values as well. As a stand alone set, it lacks a bit of detail inside. I am not a fan of the hinged design, but that might make it more fun to play with as a kid. I will modify mine, but stay true to the general design. I recommend this set based on value alone if you are trying to build up your city. As for the main build (I have not yet built the others) the townhouse looks clean on display, and has great playability. The bedroom, kitchen, and TV room are all really great features. This set also has many nice pieces, and comes with excellent minifigs. Although the price to part ratio is a good one, to me this doesn't feel like a $50 set. I feel it should be closer to $40 (which isn't too far off). I think it's because when I compare the Townhouse to my other house sets (Beach House, and Mountain Hut), The Park Street Townhouse just doesn't have as much.
