I like the choice to go with a \u201csilver screen\" look that hearkens back to the creature's earliest cinematic appearances. The printed elements all look great, and the rest of the pieces would be useful for those just looking for a parts pack. (Although the value of that could change if they raise the price from standard on this.) Being the first (and maybe only) Universal Monsters BrickHeadz will probably help up the collectible factor for this set, too. But really, I think he's cool enough to pick up \u201cjust because\".","review_amount":null,"rating_original":null,"rating_converted":null,"author_name":"Chris Doyle","embed":null},{"review_url":"https:\/\/brickset.com\/article\/53477\/review-40422-frankenstein-s-monster","snippet":"Being monochrome, this is not a particularly attractive BrickHeadz by any means, and it's unlikely to win over any sceptics, but fans of the horror genre and the 1930s films will love it.","review_amount":null,"rating_original":null,"rating_converted":null,"author_name":"Huw","embed":null},{"review_url":"https:\/\/rebrickable.com\/blog\/311\/quick-review-40422-1-frankenstein\/","snippet":"While the build had little worthy to write about, I must say I do love the result. Yes, it's a bit simple, but it captures the looks and atmosphere of the monster very well, despite being in a Brickheadz form. Or maybe, because it's in a Brickheadz form, as the blank stare from the eyes perfectly match the real monster. So, if you like the movies, or the monster itself, or you just want a Halloween-themed LEGO display: This one is a good one. If you want an interesting build: There are better Brickheadz to be found.","review_amount":null,"rating_original":null,"rating_converted":null,"author_name":"TobyMac","embed":null},{"review_url":"http:\/\/bricksfanz.com\/40422-frankenstein-lego-brickheadz-set-review\/","snippet":"It's quite surprising how well various LEGO elements match the iconic look of Frankenstein's creation. Silvery studs for neck bolts, black teeth elements for its hair, they all combine to create a great take on the character. The square nature of BrickHeadz builds also lends well to the look of the character. Only thing I'm surprised about is the colour scheme used. The original Frankenstein movie was shown in black and white, so this BrickHeadz follows that rather muted colour scape. Yet many other takes on the character has shown the Monster with green skin. This would have resulted in a much more colourful creation but I think I prefer that the set is directly inspired by the classic film.","review_amount":null,"rating_original":null,"rating_converted":null,"author_name":"Adam White","embed":null},{"review_url":"https:\/\/bricktasticblog.com\/blog\/checking-out-40422-frankenstein\/","snippet":"This is a Brickheadz character with a difference. The extra large forehead means an extra brick taller in the head. The front looks excellent, with the dead eyes and the bolts coming out. These builds have no neck, but they still did pretty well!","review_amount":null,"rating_original":null,"rating_converted":null,"author_name":"John","embed":null}]}
