Every store that we went in to he would ask us when we thought he would be able to get it. Santa ended up bringing it for him last Christmas and he couldn't have been more excited when he woke up and found it beneath the tree. I loved that the set contains various bags so you can take your time and build one or two of the items per day. We like to spread out these big sets over the course of a few days so the fun lasts. My son really loved the working mine track in it and it was cool that the mine cart easily slid up and down it. I'm sure there is additional track somewhere out there in the Lego world for purchase.
