We've purchased a number of fire trucks, but this is the best hands down. I'd also say it is better than the other Playmobil fire trucks we've purchased. While it doesn't have a tall ladder, it has enough \"gear\" to keep him happy... hoses, tools, cones, etc. He particularly likes the fact that the cab holds four Playmobil figures. I've even had other adults say they thought it looked fun to play with.
