There's been a TV series and a movie. All the sets have had a certain feel to them that has been consistent along the line. There have been a lot of temple sets over the years. There has been color and size variation, but a lot of sameness. I've been wondering if I would keep buying Ninjago sets because I wasn't sure if there was any freshness to them anymore.This temple set certainly mixes things up! The style feels like a mix between Ninjago and Nexo Knights. It feels like a Tron Ninjago set with lots of panels of transparent colors. It has a video game vibe with hit points floating above the minifigures? It was fun to build and it's fun to look at.If this is where Ninjago is going this year, I can't wait to see what else they come up with! My son really liked putting this together and he and my daughter have been playing with it all evening. It's really cool!","review_amount":"9","rating_original":"4.5","rating_converted":"90.00","author_name":null,"embed":null},{"review_url":"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=FHjGWeTBHpc","snippet":null,"review_amount":null,"rating_original":"A","rating_converted":"90.00","author_name":null,"embed":"<iframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/FHjGWeTBHpc?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Embedded video from YouTube\"><\/iframe>"},{"review_url":"https:\/\/blocksmag.com\/product\/issue-65\/","snippet":"71712 Empire Temple of Madness was reviewed in issue 65 of Blocks Magazine.","review_amount":null,"rating_original":"80","rating_converted":"80.00","author_name":null,"embed":null},{"review_url":"https:\/\/brickset.com\/reviews\/set-71712-1","snippet":null,"review_amount":"3","rating_original":"4","rating_converted":"80.00","author_name":null,"embed":null},{"review_url":"http:\/\/click.linksynergy.com\/deeplink?id=TZZm7nNaZzs&mid=13923&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lego.com%2Fen-US%2Fproduct%2F71712","snippet":"The Empire Temple of Madness is a real treat for any LEGO Ninjago enthusiast. While it may appear basic on the website, once built, it is something magnificent to behold. It contains six minifigures, including the exclusive Sushimi sushi chef, as well as three digi-ninja, the emperor Unagami, and an iconic Red Visor. The build is very intricate, with some pieces that, I admit, even I have never seen before. The Temple of Madness encompasses two main levels, as well as a pedestal at the top of the model that holds the final Key-tana. If twisted while on its resting place, the Key-tana causes the throne room's (the main level) doors to open revealing what lies inside. The throne room is decorated with bricks that resemble circuitry, and has, of course, Emperor Unagami's throne that is able to pivot in a complete 360 degree circle. The second level has two rooms: the sushi kitchen and the arcade room. In the sushi kitchen is a box full of evil sushi monsters, which, if released, can wreak havoc on the steps leading to the kitchen. The arcade room contains a buildable Prime Empire arcade cabinet and three Prime swords on a weapons rack. The Temple of Madness is an excellent addition to one's Prime Empire collection, and is a hidden gem among many, so I would advise that you secure this set before it soon sells out.","review_amount":"14","rating_original":"4","rating_converted":"80.00","author_name":null,"embed":null},{"review_url":"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_wm4VKG3f6o","snippet":null,"review_amount":null,"rating_original":null,"rating_converted":null,"author_name":"Jang","embed":"<iframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/_wm4VKG3f6o?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Embedded video from YouTube\"><\/iframe>"}]}
