Each year she gets her own special ornament, and this one has been the clear favorite. It now sits on her desk--well past the Christmas season--and she periodically opens it to play with it. It was easy to open to get the Legos out. There was a surprising amount inside, so she was able to build quite a bit. It was also very pretty. That was a nice surprise as I expected the plastic to look a little cheap.
