Recommendation: no 4.1 / 5 from 30 reviews

I have seven (7) Star Wars ultimate collector's sets and this one ranks second behind the Imperial Star Destroyer. This set is just larger than the actual toy that was made. It is a fun build, although the wings get a bit monotonous, but still awesome. It can be displayed with either the wings folded up or fully extended. The figures with the set are an added bonus but not necessary, this set just speaks for itself.

It looks a lot like the one in the movies and makes an excellent display piece. It'll definitely be one of the first things to be noticed when you walk into a room. It is certainly my standout set of my collection.

Whether you're building this for yourself or your child or building it together, this set is not for beginners. I built this myself, having played with legos since I was only 5 and now being in my 30's, and this took me three evenings to build. It is by far the biggest lego set I have, standing just over two feet tall with the wings open. The only thing I thought they could've done better was a ramp for the entry to the ship. Other than that, I love it.

I'm a big fan, so I'd buy it. But for parts and figs, you might want to shop elsewhere
