So excited, bought this for my grandson for Christmas! Also got him the small farm animal set! Can't wait for him to open it for Christmas! Bought it at Toys R Us last week when it was advertised on their website for $47.99 and they matched the sale price in store, and bought the small farm animal set on clearance at Farm and Fleet for $7.44! Was thrilled!

There are so many fun ways to play with this colorful set. We really like LEGO Duplo because it helps build fine motor skills in young toddlers, introduces them to colors and shapes, and offers classic building play. It's creative and helps kids problem solve through hands-on fun.

Lots of fun! My 3 year old definitely can't put it together herself, she needs mom to put it together for her, but she loves playing with it! I will say, life will be much easier for both of you if you get a baseplate, like this one here LEGO DUPLO My First Large Green Building Plate 2304 Building Kit (I got mine at target, I think it was cheaper) we had extra animals from other sets, and we put the 3 buildings around the outside and the fences where the buildings weren't and made a fun little farm world for her to play in... even her 7 year old brother loves to come play farm with her on this set :) (although, admittedly, that can be it's own set of headaches lol)
