I loved this Lego set! It was a fun mini-project to put together the different items. I guess I wasn't expecting to be able to put them all together without needing to steal parts from the other. These were all mixed together and not separated, which I appreciated because it made the kids use a little more brain power. We also got extras of some of the smaller pieces. My only wish is that there is somewhere we could follow along with the directions for the other whales/sharks shown that you can make with this set, I realize putting it in the instructions would be too long, but maybe a web link to printable or viewable directions. Overall, a great product at a great price
These inexpensive Lego Classic small sets are really good for people who have just started building with Lego, and is equally as fun and good with people who love lego and have played with it for years! I really like the array of shades of blue and the variety of different parts, which really contribute to making a child build something diverse and imaginative sets! Thes sets are easy and cheap to get, but most stores only have 1 or 2 of the colours available. This blue creativity box is fun, easy inexpensive, simple, amazing for kids, and just a really nice starter set. I like how they include instructions and ideas for the builds, immersing creativity into children, I think Lego could have included more wheels in this set and definitely 1x1 and 1x4 plates. They could have also given more ideas and maybe they could have included instructions for building something that is combined with some of the larger creative brick assortments.
In summary, both sets have there strengths and weaknesses: the blue box contains offset elements as well as inverse slopes, both of which are lacking in the red box. The red box does have the relatively large wedge pie and the unique eye print, but also has 4 wedge plates that remain unmatched, even if you collect the set of Creative Boxes.
