Bought this for my nephew for his 5th birthday. He loved helping assembling. As we did that I knew it would be a problem - so many small peices that will vanish. It's a very cool set, but I don't think it's good for kids under 6 or 7. It's been 5 days since I helped him put it together and already missing several pieces.
I bought this set only for the bright green raptor and for the Jurassic World 2x2 side panels. And also for the ACU guard and the truck windshield. Just for these pcs, I think it is well worth it. For the rest of it......I already have 4 Owen minifigures. And the rest of pieces will go in my many LEGO organizers to bulk my spare parts.
On the whole, I think this set is nice for younger children, but older LEGO fans can afford to give it a miss and get the more “grown-up" LEGO Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom sets. The build itself is okay – especially for a Juniors set, it looks reasonable. The minifigures are not bad, though the guard is a bit plain. Playability is alright as you can act out a play scenario and transport the raptor around in the 4×4. The price is kind of high, though – I get there are big one-piece molds but the set size on the whole does not feel worth it in relation to the price. If you want to get this, get it on a discount.
What do we say about 10757 Raptor Rescue Truck? It hasn't been designed with us in mind, so unfortunately it doesn't hold up to any sort of scrutiny as a pure LEGO experience. This is a shame both for us and for the LEGO Group, as for the potentially high number of those buying this set, it will be all about the minifigures and the dinosaur. And that's not all that a LEGO set should be about. Watch this space, and in the meantime, buy Juniors sets with frustration…
