My son really enjoyed building this lego duplo set. Duplo has larger pieces so it's a lot easier for little hands to maneuver. My 3 year old plays with regular legos as well but requires a lot more help with the build process and usually gets distracted easily but with duplo it's a lot easier to keep him focused and get his help with the initial build. The animals are a good size and the plastic feels fairly solid and smooth as to be expected from legos. There's not too much interactivity with the set by itself but there's a small door piece, a bridge that can flip over, and a crane piece to lift up a little basket. My son has fun putting all sorts of things in the basket and playing (marbles, jelly beans, etc). Unlike some other duplo sets this one did have instructions (which I prefer since my son wants it to look like the box anyhow). I'd recommend it to parents of little ones looking for a fun play scene.
