This was one of these best Lego purchases I've made for my 7 year old son. We ordered this for a class project on a landmark in Italy and we can't wait for the response from his class and teacher. My son not only had fun building this but also was excited about learning the history of it all.

If you are angling towards perfection, the Leaning Tower falls a little short; it is however an interesting build and its lean alone will make it stand out from the rest of the range. It's perhaps one for the collectors, or a souvenir. Some sets are must-haves at any (reasonable) price; this set probably isn't one of those, and I suspect the price tag will turn out to be a deciding factor for many.
