Medieval Blacksmith

This is a great set, it's both challenging and fun to build, it's the perfect set for anyone who were fans of the old lego knights sets, way back when and perfect for any medieval lego city, or just for display purposes more less

While I'm definitely annoyed by vertical post on the third floor and the blue roof, both of these issues are relatively minor and can be easily fixed if you decide to modify the set. It's ultimately up to you—if you love classic Castle, you will probably love this too. It's not as dramatic as the original fan submission, but it still offers a good building experience. more less

At $150 for over 2,000 parts, including four great minifigs and two animals (larger animals always almost always increase the price of LEGO sets), the set is also a pretty great deal. The set provides a range of very useful parts for architecturally oriented builders, and I'd love to see alternative builds using nothing but the parts in this set. Whether you're more nostalgic for Forestmen or Lion Knights (or later factions like Dragon Knights) than you are for Black Falcons, this is an excellent set that any LEGO Castle fan should appreciate. more less

There is some minor stuff, like the gaps between the roof sections. I must say, when both sides of the roof are added, the attic goes dark and the gaps are much harder to spot. But still. The tree outside is a great build, but personally I would add some more leaves, or make it some bigger. That will be a matter of a limited part count. You can't have everything bigger without a bigger price-tag. So yes, I can highly recommend this set. more less

It's essentially the same effect that 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay had on the classic Pirates theme: for all that adult fans wax lyrical about ‘80s and ‘90s sets, their designs can't really hold up to the complex and assured models that the LEGO Group puts out today. But 21325 Medieval Blacksmith transports the Classic Castle theme firmly into the current golden age of LEGO, leaving us yearning for even more – and that's when you know you've got a great set on your hands. more less

I can very easily recommend this to you. LEGO has produced something new and yet nostalgic, charming, educational and fun. The Blacksmith was once at the heart of the community, I invite you to put this set at the heart of your LEGO collection, I honestly don't think you'll be disappointed. more less
