I have bought this product for myself. I believe that this product should atleast come with landing gear because then it would be very unrealistic. I have put a RCS thruster on the fin on top. In the photo I have made the main thruster and made two very bad "Solid Thrusters" I think in all in all (yes, twice) I think this set is worth the money, sometimee I roleplay with it. All respect to the Challenger disaster.✝.
There are two ways to conclude this point and ultimately view a set that has a complete primary build and two secondary builds that only half-utilise the piece count. Those secondary builds are either disappointing and leave you feeling like there's a great deal more that could have been achieved by the LEGO designers with this 3-in-1 set, or, the amount of spare pieces is a great surprise that leaves you with lots of extra LEGO to put together your own additional builds with. A Creator set that gives you the opportunity to create cannot be a bad thing, though it still may surprise you just how much LEGO you are left with to create.
LEGO produces several hundred sets each year and it is almost impossible to keep up with them all. I am often guilty of overlooking the Creator range as a result but am very pleased to have purchased 31066 Space Shuttle Explorer as this model is highly detailed and looks brilliant on display. It also includes some fun play features, the most notable of which is the articulated Canadarm and the deployable satellite.
