I bought my daughter all the dc superhero girl sets for Christmas as I got them all extremely cheap on sale. Pretty happy with them as they come with lots of great characters and accessories. Considering the price I paid I'm a satisfied customer and feel I got my money's worth. I would not say the same thing if I'd paid full price though. I do think the sets work better (play wise) when all together instead of if you just had one or two sets. Great theme though I do prefer the boys superhero sets.
The Harley Quinn to the Rescue Set, and the rest of the LEGO sets in the DC Super Hero Girls line offer fans of the teenaged superheroes a new way to engage with the cool characters. It allows them to build the minifigures, buildings, and vehicles to set the scene for plenty of imaginative play. Interactive features and additional accessories add to the fun. This set comes with two minifigures - Harley Quinn, and Steve Trevor - which we love seeing in LEGO form, and think fans will too.
As far as the super hero high sets go this is the worst of them so far, the kids and I have assembled the school, along with the dorms and a couple of the other small connected sets but this one is just lacking. The colors aren't really good ones for the building and the assembled piece is clunky. Considering Harley is included in her dorm set they also could have included a different hero or villain or maybe a teacher. Something to add an extra figure that isn't already used elsewhere.

This set honestly feels like things were just slapped together. The exploding window works nicely and having a minidoll of Harley Quinn is the shining point of this set, but those cannot outshine the many negatives. I know I'm not even close to being the target audience but even my daughter didn't pay this one any attention after building it. She wanted to go back to Batgirl's Batwing.
I'd recommend waiting to catch this one on sale, and with the frequency of discounts Amazon seems to be posting, you may not have long to wait. And for those of you who are Harley Quinn fans, this is currently the only way to get the mini-doll version of her, so it may be worth springing for the set at full price.
There are plenty of play features to help create a dynamic story even though the model itself is rather compact at only 14 studs wide by 10 studs deep. I really like the Harley minidoll, though shall probably mix and match her hair with those of the many minifigure forms of her until I find my favourite combination.
