Customer Video Review Length:: 0:10 Mins This set was pretty fun. It has moving parts, which all very well engineered. The attached video shows the Trolls rocking out on their spinning stage. The function continues when the stage turns into a bathroom, a coffee bar, and a dressing room. I don't like the non-standard mini-figures (I'm old school and traditional), but they are still pretty cool on their own. There are a fair amount of unique pieces in this set.The set took me about 50 minutes to put together. It was very enjoyable and this set has tons of playability, taking the Trolls from the concert setup and preparation to actually rocking out! I'm not familiar with the storyline or the movie, so I am sure that fans of the toy line and movie will get even more out of this set than I did.
One of the things we really like about these sets is the Trolls hair play. Kids will have fun mixing and matching the hairstyles among the different minifigures and popping accessories in and out to create different looks. We also like the addition of felt pieces in each set, giving a nice tactile appeal to the building and helping bring some of the texture from the movie to life. And, of course, each set includes lots of the details and accessories that LEGO does so well to inspire a lot of imaginative play.

As a Trolls set this one fits the theme's aesthetic the least. I'm sure fans of the movie would enjoy playing with this, but probably not as much as some of the other sets. As a parts pack it provides some cool re-colors and some exclusive ones, but not in great quantities. If you're not a Trolls fan I can't recommend this set unless you can find it on discount.
The Trolls sets have certainly divided LEGO fans, the unique looking Minifigures are one of the main gripes, but I quite like them. They fit the look of the characters from the movie, far better than standard Minifigures would. I like that they can be jazzed up with various mini elements, although I'm still not sure why Branch has a cupcake in his hair. But for me the star of the set is the actual set. It looks great, has fun play features and includes some nice new and recoloured elements.
