This was so fun to help my almost 6 yr/o put together. She did the work and I helped her stay on track with the super friendly instructions. Took us all morning to assemble and she only got tired at the last bag #6 because she was so ready to play with it by that point. Can't wait to get more in the line so she can build out her town. She's always loved Duplo and is really into Minecraft, so this was fabulous to get her off her game and physically building. Thanks, Lego!
This is a very cool construction set dollhouse for the LEGO Friends characters. Kids will have fun building and playing out all sorts of fun stories for the characters and their animal friends, from going on secret missions to having awesome slumber parties. There are a lot of fun features and details to inspire a lot of imaginative play.
I absolutely love this Lego Friends Set! I especially admire the special features of the sliding garage door, the fireman pole, the beautifully decorated swing and the fascinating pulley, too! I really like the detail of the stickers in The Friendship House, they make this Set much more interesting. The pretend brickwork is fantastic, and I think that it really makes this Set stand out from the others. I think that the bunny door is very creative in how it is placed, heading inside the garage. I also love the new, improved flowers and mini - figures, for the Lego Friends characters! There is a little bit of everything for each of the girls in this awesome Lego Friends Set!
If you're a Friends fan, this set is an easy recommendation. The colours are somewhat subdued this time around, but still fun, and those invested in the characters will find a great deal to like here. For anyone else, there isn't really much here to get excited about. The parts included are nothing special, unless you're looking for a good deal of tiles, and the build process offers little to nothing in terms of twists or techniques.
There's a lot to do at the Friendship House! The designer has managed to pack a lot of detail and a lot of play value on each level of the building, an impressive feat. There's a good blend between some of the traditional Friends features such as the detailed kitchen along with more action oriented features such as the fire pole and the tree swing, in addition to little surprises such as the hidden monitor under the TV set. Although there are plenty of details in the set, none of the spaces feel cramped. There's much to do at the Friendship House, and plenty of space to do it.
While building this, my advice is to take your time and enjoy all the small, thoughtful details. Even though I was taking photographs throughout mine, I still felt like I was seeing some things for the first time as I looked though my images. I tried to mention lots of clever and fun details in my written review, yet, forgive me if I missed a detail you were looking forward to seeing. I could probably take 35 more photos and still not capture all the building details and play possibilities. It is a House of Funship!
