Mia's Heart Box

I purchased this as a Valentine's day gift, but ended up giving it way early! I was glad I did because now I have gone back and purchased the other four sets. When I first purchased it, I didn't realize that each of the hearts could actually hold ALL of the accessories that come with it. In addition, I didn't realize that the other heart sets could all stack on top of each other! That alone was a win-win for me! This set reminds me of a Polly Pocket compact. It's a fun and easy build, but yet the play value is excellent. You can use the lid as a stage to play with Mia and her pet rabbit. You can set up the campfire and have her roast a marshmallow. As always, the extent of play value is really wherever your imagination will lead you. For example, our heart quickly became a hot tub! You can't beat that on a cold day! The build is rather easy for the 7-9 year old age group. It took approximately 20 minutes. The play value has just kept right on going! This particular set is excellent for travel! First the build itself and then the play value. I love that when play is over, everything you see fits right inside the heart shaped box. You can even build a small display stand to stand your heart shaped box up! I highly recommend this set and yes, I now own all five! more less

Lego Friends are always amazing, but this set is even better than that!! Mia and all her accessories can actually fit inside her heart shaped compact. Mia comes with her pet rabbit, marshmallow on a stick, sunglasses,camp fire, etc.The heart lid comes off and can be a stage for Mia and friends to play on! This set reminds me of a Polly Pocket Set because she can live inside her heart shaped house. There is also a stand, so your heart can stand up. Now what I didn't know is that if you buy the other heart shaped sets, they can all stack on top of each other! This is an awesome set for traveling, for Valentines Day or anytime! Overall, it is an easy build, but a very enjoyable set with a lot of play value! As far as imaginative play goes, our heart became a hot tub! Mia went in the spa before she roasted marshmallows! Update! We now own all of them! I came back to purchase the rest of them! more less

This year Mia finally got her own family House and this brick-built container would fit well as a backyard scene. Yet, even on its own, this heart box makes an enjoyable building session, with some fun parts, and a cute creation to display when finished. more less
