Fans of the Mixels app and series will like building and mixing the characters with these sets. These are also a fun way to introduce new kids to the brand given that many children like to build and play with creatures.
I am very impressed with the Frosticon Mixels. They all have unique character designs that reflect the creativity of the entire Mixel line, plus I love the use of the semi-rare medium azure color with the other shades of blues. Beyond that, they also include the Galaxy Squad and Ninjago weapon pieces, which were previously only available in the more expensive sets from those themes. All three of them work great as parts packs, as each seems to contain some relatively rare elements. The three character designs are also nice, although Lunk is a little lackluster in comparison to the other two in my opinion.
Slumbo was the first one to catch my eye when pictures of this series first emerged, due to the clever use of minifig heads and helmets for its eyes, and now having built him, he doesn't disappoint. They create a look quite different from other Mixels eyes and give him a distinctive personality.
