With the family all assembled, I have to say that I am quite happy with the gang. I'm still sad that Globert seems so unfinished, but I'm willing to overlook it for all the new and rare colors in these sets.
I am not keen on those exposed studs on either side of his body, but I like the parts selection which includes some different kinds of teeth and six light aqua cheese slopes, which appear with all three of the Glowkies.
The Glowkies offer some nice variety to the Mixel cast, and top it off with good designs, useful pieces in black and dark blue, with a few glow in the dark eyes as highlights.
Boogly looks a little weird, but he's a Mixel, so I guess it's ok. The eye is great, as well as the teeth, but he doesn't have the opportunity to move around all that much, as his front feet are limited in movement. His top jaw is a little odd. Instead of a straight up and down action, it can rotate slightly as well. I'm not sure whether I like this or not.
