These sets will be a lot of fun for Harry Potter fans who like building with LEGO. Brick Headz offers a fun new look for the popular characters that will look great displayed in a Harry Potter collection.
I normally only collect marvel or Star Wars Lego, however having already bought the Jurassic World Owen and blue brickheadz, I saw a preview of the new sets coming soon and was drawn to this set. It doesn't disappoint! They look great together, instantly recognisable and nice touches are the school badge on Harry and feathers printed on Hedwig the owl. Great value and can see why they sell out of this set so quick! Get it when you see it, don't dither about it!
This little LEGO set was given as a gift to my friends daughter. It was small and relatively easy and quick to put together. But that was the intent of the gift. It was meant to be small and thoughtful.

All in all I'm not a huge fan of this set. I think Harry isn't done very well, and while Hedwig is better, she's still pretty plain.
These are nowhere near the most impressive or attractive BrickHeadz but they are very competent and instantly recognisable designs of important characters from the films so are likely to prove popular with fans of the wizarding world.
Some of the most exciting new elements of 2018 for me are the 1x1 bracket (Design ID 36841) and 1x1 inverted bracket (36840). It just so happens that Mr. Potter and his owl are the first to find their way to me with a sample.
These are two simple, yet fun, builds which are likely to appeal to fans of the franchise outside the LEGO community. They may be a little monochromatic other than a bit of red and yellow, but for fans of Harry Potter, the protagonist and his pet owl will be a must-have. Eye-catching and fairly priced, this is perfect for a stocking filler or secret Santa gift.
Another great BrickHeadz set and the introduction of the ‘Buddiez' are a neat addition to the range. After speaking to the designer of range, they really toyed with the idea of introducing a new scale into the range. But I have to say it's a great choice and the same sort of design standards are still there just in a slightly smaller scale. I love the printed pieces, especially those on Harry, which are subtle but make the character. Unlike Ron from the LEGO BrickHeadz Wizarding World double pack, Harry feels a little more detailed even though the build is quite similar.
