i love this. a great twopack with an awesome luke and a cute yoda. Luke: amazing attention to detail with the hair, the gun and even the belt with a holder for lukes lightsaber. Yoda: great scale when compared to luke, cane is great and teh simplistic design really works. and awesome brickhead and a worthy addition to my brickheadz collection.
This is a must have set for Star Wars LEGO fans, both young and old. They captured each character perfectly (Luke with his blaster and light saber, and Yoda with his walking stick). They even added Yoda's white hair and Luke's cowlick in his hair . My only gripes are they stopped putting the set numbers on the bases. Add the Vader figure and you can recreate the Dagobah scene from Empire Strikes Back. One of their best combo sets yet. Cant wait to see what else they come out with.
Overall, I'm a fan of this set. I like Luke a lot and Yoda is pretty good too. The price is also a little bit more reasonable due to the fact that you get two characters.
Fun to display Star Wars LEGO Brickheadz fans and collectors will love these great additions to the their Star Wars Collection. These are fun to build with instructions that are easy to follow.
To butcher one of Yoda's quotes, luminous beings are these BrickHeadz, not just blocky matter. 41627 Luke Skywalker & Yoda faithfully captures The Empire Strikes Back appearance of both the young and old Jedi, although they are not quite the best that the Star Wars selection of BrickHeadz has to offer.
The appeal of BrickHeadz models is often determined by the character upon which they are based. This rendition of Luke Skywalker looks pretty good on the whole but does not stand out beside other figures with a more attractive colour scheme, hence my interest in a different model wearing a Rebel Pilot's uniform. Yoda, on the other hand, looks fantastic and is probably my favourite of these smaller figures!
For those of us less interested in Marvel and DC superheroes or Disney cartoon characters, it's great to finally get a more complete cast of Star Wars characters to decorate our desks with. These three new BrickHeadz sets (with four new characters) are fantastic additions to the series, and must-have purchases for all LEGO Star Wars fans.
