Dragon Bolt is a very special and rare set, because I wouldn't place it as a must-buy for the final model or as a parts pack, but rather for the build experience. Dragon Bolt is excellently crafted under the constraints a $20 set is placed under in order to be fit for production. The wing mechanism is a simple and compact fully-functional contraption, offering functionality that is usually reserved for the larger Technic-based vehicle sets. If you miss challenging and interesting build processes or the gear-based mechanics of BIONICLE sets, Dragon Bolt is definitely a set worth picking up!
These are great toys for my boys. They keep them busy for hours. As soon as they open the package, they have to figure out how to put them together and then its hours of make believe with all hero's they've put together. These wonderful toys make their imagination come alive!
Dragon Bolt is overall a pretty cool set... and yes, he does justice to the whole "Dragons are awesome"-thing. However, I can't shake off the feeling that Dragon Bolt would have worked a tiny bit better if he'd been the largest set of the wave instead of Jet Rocka, simply because I wished that he'd be a bit bigger. But even now, he's a very impressive set with an unique built and great parts, so I can recommend him.
