Recommendation: yes 5 / 5 by Huw

I was not disappointed with this set at all. The truck is well designed. Being in three parts it lends itself well to customisation. The forklift is the best looking one LEGO has made to date, thanks to the use of new curved parts. Together the models provide for a lot of fun for youngsters, or make an excellent display piece in your City or train layout.

The truck looks great. I particularly like the front grill and the exhaust pipes behind the cab. They're small details, but they really accentuate the build. It's a set that has a lot of playability.

Got this for my 2 year old son since it has forklift and cargo truck. When the container part (white box on the truck) comes off, it became like flatbed which is exciting for him.For forklift, you can take the rubber band(putting the fork upward all the time) off too which give them more freedom to put it down. But of course they will need to lift it up and put pallets into the cargo truck. For the kid who loves truck, learning words like pallet and using forklift to put pallets inside the cargo truck by opening the side of the container is quite fun.

A pretty good set overall (I like the back-to-basics approach to the grille), let down somewhat by its odd choice of cargo and high price (40USD compared to 20-30USD for most of the other vehicles, although admittedly the forklift is much more substantial an accessory than what you usually receive with a vehicle set consisting of a single truck).
