High Speed Police Chase

The details in this set are what to be expected from LEGO sets: scruffy faces, pretend $100 bills, and even classic aviator sunglasses on the cop. Well it's a simple set. You get a cop, a cop car, two crooks, their awesome dirt bikes and a ramp. The police car is pretty much an average vehicle and police vehicle. Despite that, I like being able to have a simple police car for my city without buying something as big as the police station. The bikes are probably the highlight of this set. They come with gold (or copper) rims and; the base and body pieces have a nice mix of colors so they look like the kind of bikes bad guys would drive. Another notable thing about this set is that one of the crooks is female. She's probably not the first but it's nice to see Lego break gender stereotypes.The only negative input is that the stickers can be a nuisance to peel and place. But that is just my opinion on a minor detail. Aside from that, it's a quick and fun build. Every Lego City could use some law and law breakers. more less

All in all, I think it's kind of “meh". The builds are pretty bland overall and the minifigures are unremarkable. Playability is alright because of the three included vehicles but I think it definitely is skewed towards a younger audience and there aren't any innovative/special play features. The price is also a bit high, especially in the U.S. more less
