This set is a good deal for $10, especially since you get 4 mini figures. It goes great with the city cargo and transport sets. I only wish it came with more of the mail pieces.
I really liked this set but wish that somehow, it could have came with a helipad. Like maybe a folded paper mat?Still, it's a good set that gives you great set pieces like a fuel tank(with extra nozzle) and a mailbox with letters. And the helicopter being a postal vehicle is a really nice touch. It make me want to add a post office with helipad to my City. The minifigures are nice too. The mail lady is the only one that doesn't have a detailed back torso. The set also had extra pieces like an additional flagging light handle, I think a red/green single brick, extra helmet visor, and the fuel tank nozzle I mentioned earlier. Lego is awesome for doing that.
The LEGO City Airport Starter Set will be a fun way to start some imaginative building and airport play for kids who like building with LEGO. It's got some nice pieces and minifigures that will make a nice addition to a LEGO City airport set or any LEGO City sets that kids already own. You could play with this small set on its own, if you wanted, helping the postal worker deliver the mail, filling up the helicopter with fuel, and leading the helicopter to the runway with the guide lights. But as the name suggests, this is a “starter set" that is really intended to fill out the play of larger LEGO City sets.
