Good price per Lego person. However, the overall price of Lego pieces is ABSURDLY high. I've seen videos on how they make these things by the billions using completely automated systems, in many countries, including countries with very low pay for the people who do work at the plants (like Mexico). Unless each piece has a golden nugget in the middle, these are the most expensive pieces of plastic in the universe. I guess they are counting on gullible people to keep spending their hard earned money on bits of plastic as though they were made of gold.
Fun at the Beach is a great way to expand your Minifigure collection, especially where beachwear is concerned. Buying this pack is cheaper than purchasing individual Minifigures, but a bit on the pricey side when considering the number of parts in the box. While I did not include the build-time score for this set in my review (since it not meant to be a typical set), you also pay a lot for the amount of assembly time that you get. Overall, the characters are fun though, and you get loads of accessories. I would probably wait to buy this on sale, but it is worth getting in my opinion.
The kids enjoy your products. They always ask for new kits and have them put together in hours to days depending on complexity This Christmas we gave them several and one was especially a challenge, The carousel will be a team effort for the kids.
Overall, this set is a decent people pack. However, at its current pricing, it is priced way too high for only 169 pieces. I get that there are 14 minifigures included, but the price seems far too high nonetheless. This hurts the set overall as otherwise it is quite good.
This set is not as groundbreaking as its predecessor but it does nevertheless provide us with another fifteen useful and mostly generic minifigs with which to populate our cities. What I particularly appreciate is that effort has been expended on producing new and (possibly) unique and interesting torsos and heads for most of the figures: it's not just a box of tired old parts we all have already.
