Ambulance Helicopter

Great value. By far my favorite helicopter so far. Would be nice if you could fit a mini fig sitting down in the back but no big deal. I'll probably swap the landing skids for wheels in the future. It's a lot bigger than you would expect. Love the overall look. more less

This set is fun to just hold in your hands. I got this so whenever someone gets hurt in a stop-motion, I have a helicopter to fly them out. I really like the two EMT figures. Overall good set. more less

The Ambulance Helicopter is a solid buy, even at full price. You get a good looking set that comes at a nice value in terms of the cost per brick, as well as the build time that you get. The Minifigures are not super detailed, but every city needs men and women in generic uniforms as well. I like this set quite a bit, and my only major alteration would have been to make the roof one tile layer higher. That way, the paramedic could have fit into the rear compartment. All the same, I recommend the Ambulance Helicopter. more less

This is a great set which I'm sure will appeal to LEGO City fans and is a worthy addition to any fleet. The colour combination works incredibly well and the use of the nose part is integral to giving this model its look and feel. The real test of any aircraft is the ‘swooshability' and this doesn't disappoint, so I have no hesitation in recommending this set. more less

The Ambulance Helicopter took us 25 minutes to assemble. It includes 190 pieces and three mini figures: a pilot, medical technician, and a snowboarder. The snowboarder has gotten himself into trouble - good thing the tech's radio picked up his distress signal! The helicopter features spinning rotors, landing gear, and a back hatch. more less

The helicopters compared do not really occupy as a similar space in the market, or indeed the imagination. One is solely for swooshing or display, while this year's Emergency Helicopter acts as a display/swooshing piece, a source of role play material, with the 3 LEGO Figures. Both have their strengths and weakness. more less

The LEGO City theme has offered no shortage of helicopters in recent years but 60179 Ambulance Helicopter really stands out as an excellent example. I love its bright red and yellow colour scheme which is suited to a rescue vehicle and the shaping of the aircraft looks superb, closely matching a number of real helicopters. All three minifigures are great too and I am particularly satisfied with the new paramedic uniforms. more less
