This is a fun basic set. The camper opens so little fingers can get inside. It attaches to the truck well. My 9 year old super loves it! Plus I paid $24 and I felt like that was a good deal...with Legos being so expensive I try to get sets that will get played with over and over again.

LEGO City Van and Caravan allows kids to rolelplay a summer adventure that they may already do with their own families. This set is fun on its own or it can be paired with other LEGO City sets.

On the whole, I think this is a satisfying and fun set. The builds look good and are good for play, though the interior of the caravan is slightly cramp (space, as always, is a limiting factor in LEGO sets). The minifigures included are okay – it's a fun nod to a previous set, though, and they are good for play scenarios. The price is good too – $29.99 in the U.S. is a wee bit high but it's honestly fine, and the rest of the world has good prices. Definitely a fun set that I recommend.

Recommendation: no 3.5 / 5 by Richard

The 60182 Pickup and Caravan is great to play with, and is a generously sized model. While $44.99 seems like a high price for a car and caravan set, its 344 parts are put to good used, and you get a solid toy to play with. There are a few issues I have with the truck: particularly its relative size, as well as the fact that over 30 years, a LEGO car still only seats one passenger without modification.
