My child (4 years) does love Legos'. And this arm was the best thing! He have been playing with it one week and continues playing. Value for money was great in my opinion.

The Rover Testing Drive meets its intended purpose, which it to be a fun play set for children. It might not meet the higher standards of adult collectors though. Additionally, the price tag for this set is high relative to what you actually get.

Recommendation: meh by CapnRex101

60225 Rover Testing Drive is certainly an enjoyable set, although some unexploited potential remains in my opinion. The absence of suspension is rather disappointing as that would be a necessity for any Martian rover and might offer excellent play value here. However, the vehicle looks great and I like the robotic arm attachment with its useful new claw element.

Recommendation: meh by Adam White

The Test Rover is an interesting build, which uses parts to great effect to give the vehicle an interesting shape. I'm not sure if the LEGO Designer behind this new theme are fans of Space 1999, as the cockpit element and overall aesthetic of the crafts, look similar to those from that classic TV show. I quite like the colour scheme of white, gold and orange elements. But the best part of the entire set has to be the tiny geode elements. This is the smallest and therefore cheapest set to feature them.
