This was a gift for my 10 year old grandson and he absolutely loved it! The attention to detail was amazing! Those were his words! He thanked me over and over. Lego products are the best. I always know they will be a hit.

I really liked this set. I have been a LEGO and NASA fan all my life I thought this set brought so much to the table. I love the launch control center play features. My five year old and I counted down the launch over and over again. The only complaint I had was that the rocket is hard to separate apart, but I understand that with the pieces that make it hard to come apart the rocket would be too flimsy. The track to the launch pad is awesome, and I can't get enough of the arms retracting automatically off the rocket during lift off. So Cool. Awesome set.

As far as City sets go, it is not a bad price. However, when compared with LEGO® sets in general, it is not a great value. The build is ok, but could use more detail in certain areas. As far as the Minifigures are concerned, you get a bunch of theme-redundant characters, but a good selection of accessories and a decent brick:fig. My concluding thoughts on this kit are that it is great for play, or great for MOC parts.
