What can you say about Legos? they are always fun to put together, even for adults! We have no kids in our house, but love everything Star Wars! And love Legos even more! This particular model, puts together easily, and comes out magnificent, a true collectors item, amazing in its conception and artwork.
An excellent set. Unfortunately, this is the last of the small SW ships currently. The fig is great, and the sleek design is accurate.
A great set that I just had to buy since it was cheap. It does have some downfalls as noted about. The cockpit, the lack of landing gear, and only one minifig. The pieces are nice, and you do get an R2 head. If you didn't buy this new, I personally would not pay over retail for it.
The LEGO V-wing is a neat little set that at first appears to be a tad flimsy with plate construction taking up the majority of the bulk, but in the end feels solid enough to fly around the room. If you like setting up epic space battles, you should pick up a couple of these and at just $9.99, you can't afford not to. It's also not too shabby for parts, where you get a some bley/dark bley and dark red bits, the majority of which are in plate form.
If not for the high piece count, this set would have been a fail. Nowadays, it'd probably sell for $19.99 if released, and the score would have dropped below 50.
