Overall, this is a nice little set, full of interesting parts (mainly the new wing pieces and printed parts), with a fair amount of play value and a really excellent (albeit weird for some) figure.
So this is the third review by me for Legends of Chima and this is another set I really like. The design is very well done and you can see the birdlikle qualities of the glider very clearly. We've got another excellent figure and a fun model to play with.
I got this for my nephew. He's a huge Chima fan.Well, after we got the set opened and started putting it together, we realized that it was missing a peice. It was the beak for the bird flying vehicle. He was really upset. Well, to make a long story short. I went online to the Lego website and entered the model number and part number. And within about 2 weeks Lego shipped the missing part free of charge. Now my nephew couldn't be happier. If you have ever been leary about buying an open box or damaged box of Lego sets, don't be. Lego really stands by their customer service and you won't be disappointed. I know that I'm. I totally recommend this item!
When images of the LEGO Legends of Chima line came out, I had my eye on the Razcal's Glider (70000). It turns out that the set is the smallest of the boxed sets in the theme.
This is a neat little model which would make a worthwhile 'impulse buy' either for yourself or as a gift and is a good introduction to the theme. The minifig is, in common with all LoC figs, excellent, and even better, unique to this set.
I bought this set because it looked like it had pretty good parts, and because i wanted the wing pieces. But even as a set I find it enjoyable, and am now rather torn as to whether or not I want to tear it apart. Buyer beware: you might actually like it!
