The large vehicle and three minifigures are perfect for kids to play out different Chima adventures, including Laval and Cragger putting aside their differences and working together to stop Scorm.
When I first saw images of this set I though it looked really bad, with the big rear wheel and just the whole concept wasn't working for me. Then I checked a video review and came to really like the play functions and I just cama to like the look as well. Now it's one of my favourite Chima vehicles, I really like scorpions and this vehicle resembles a scorpion very well. And there are the wonderful figs with their great weapons and accessories. I only can recommend this set, a very unusual design, great figs, fun play-functions and a reasonable price.
Bought this for my 5 yr old nephew for his birthday. He's into Chima and Lego's like crazy. It is recommended for 8-14, but he's a smart one and did a couple other big lego's so I'm sure he could do this one. Now that I say that, my husband & I put it together for him. It was our first Lego project. Haha...it took about 1.5 hrs and if you misplace 1 piece way back in the instructions, it's not fun to go back and try to fix it. However, it wasn't horrible, it went together nicely and it stays stuck even with a 5 yr old playing with it and pinching the other Chima guys he has...quite durable. He absolutely LOVES it. Great purchase and Amazon had it cheaper than anywhere else we looked...in stores and online.
70132 Scorm's Scorpion Stinger is a middling set. Although the product is generally well-designed and of an enjoyable conceit, aside from some elements - among these, the function of its pinching claws, its elegant carapace, its combination of dark brown and gold, and the figure of Scorm - its execution is underwhelming. A cluttered color scheme and an abundance of disconnected detail undermine the set's strengths. However, the flaws aren't so severe as to make this a bad product, or to overcome all of its positive attributes.
