The large number of minifigures and vehicles allow kids to imagine and play out all sorts of Chima-themed adventures. Kids can pretend that Worriz and Razar are trying to stop the icy bad guys from stealing the Chi.

My 6-year-old daughter says, "I like it. The ice mammoth stomper set is awesome. I like to play Chima with it. I put it together with my daddy and my brother helped a little too. It was not too hard. I like the Chima guys in the set and it's my favorite set."That being said, this set has definitely been a HUGE hit in our home. My daughter truly loves playing with this toy and when parts fall off, she's able to put them back into place. We've had it for about 6 months now and it is still intact with only minor repairs here and there despite LOTS of play time and use.

The finished models are a bit of a mixed bag. I liked the six minifigs and the smaller fire bike quite a bit. The big mammoth has some issues though. I love the overall look and the function of the removable gunship. The problem is the legs. The ball joints that they used for the knees have a really weak clutch and they leave the whole thing rather floppy. It wouldn't be a big deal if this wasn't a play oriented set, but every time my son moves the thing, its legs buckle and it struggles to stand. A bit of a flaw there.
