Infernox captures the Queen

This set has dark brown and transparent orange parts that I look forward to using elsewhere. I especially like the trans-orange 1x1 pyramid pieces. As much as I love tran-orange pieces, I don't care for the rocky textured slope pieces included in this set. I can think of no way to use them in my own creations, and would rather have other parts to work with. The Infernox figure is well constructed and can be posed easily for display. I think the horse vehicle would have looked much better if the designers had chosen dark or regular green highlight to match the minifigure's armor rather than the lime green elements. I like Aaron's green/silver armor in this set much better than the trans-green armor in the "Utlimate Aaron" set. I like the Queen minifigure, and am disappointed that she is being portrayed as someone who needs saving rather than someone who commands a cool mech/vehicle. more less

I enjoyed this Infernox very much and it can be used outside of Nexo Knights realm which I have plans for it be as a summoned creature by Evil Wizards. The minifigures selection is nice, especially with the inclusion of Queen Halbert but it is a pity that there are just only two minifigures. more less

I think this is one of the best Nexo Knights sets of the entire first wave. Despite the inclusion of only two minifigures there is a huge amount of potential for play and both models look superb. The Hover Horse is brilliantly designed while Infernox himself is suitably imposing to strike fear into the hearts of even the bravest knights. more less

There are flaws with the model. The joints don't have a lot of friction, so in posing him, if I any applied pressure on the head, the hips and knees would buckle. Additionally, the back feels unfinished. The front of the model is polished and engaging but the back has exposed studs that show some of the internal structure. more less
