Value for money 3.5 out of 4 To be honest, i didnt expect to be wowwed by a ninjago product since im more of a space themed fan (so i like jets and wings and thrusters) but i found a few parts i like in it - two big fusselage pieces, some lego tank treads (not rubber; just wished it was black), two six stud shooters plus four spring loaded shooters plus mini figs...i could go on and on about parts in here which i liked. Cant help but think that if this was a royalty/cross-licensed product that it would be more expensive.i got it supposedly at half off (half off the original sticker price,at least) and although i cant remember the exact price,i think i paid something like 90 usd for it.i am frustrated how philippines lego are so expensive compared to hong kong or usa srp Cant help but think that if i got it cheaper, that i could justify spending higher absolute value for lego overall. Design 4.5 out of 4 To be honest, i was blown away.i havent played in a long time and while i know mostly old school building techniques, what impressed me was how sleek the thing is WITHOUT the use of non stud tiles. Of course some specialty pieces were used like the two fusselage or even how mufflers were detailed in the main bike and so on I like that its mini fig scale but not non-scary (some designs will try to do mini figs but the vehicle is so small that it looks like clowns riding a uni cycle) Also, when you dismantle some vehicles that come with sets, the dismantled vehicles will some times be too small and again, look non threatening.here, each dismantled vehicle looks like semi threatening at least, with the tire treads and spring loaded shooter or aerial advantage or six stud shooters - weapons spread out The single middle cycle is amazing how it flips in and out. Playability 3.5 out of 4 To be brutally honest,i dont like how each are joined not so securely.thats about it.everything else looks great.
My 7y/o is fascinated by this Lego. My husband is too, and I have to say it is really cool! It took my 7y/o about 3 days of intermittent dedication and continued excitement to build it all up. Once built it continues to be a lot of fun and the best thing is that 3 children can play with it at once because the thing separates into "functional subunits". Definitely recommend.
This is a great toy design even if you weren't building it yourself. However, the fact that you can finish it on your own and still have a cool morphing toy at the end makes it at least twice as good. With the exception of the Chenosaurus, all of these vehicles that it builds combine to create one titanic four-in-one monolith known as the Ultra Stealth Raider. A reinvention of the Super Sonic Raider, it will encourage roleplay and hours of creative play and building.
The Ultra Stealth Raider is a great set with a nice selection of minifigures including the 4 ninjas and nasty bad guys! Really enjoyable to build and I guess to play with. Lots of parts that could be put to good uses too!
