In today's LEGO landscape, where vehicles and machines dominate the overall design mix, it's refreshing to own a set that has a setting, terrain and a cunningly designed structure as the centerpiece. It's quite ironic, but looking at 2016's wave of Ninjago Sky Pirates, I get the feeling that this theme is a much better Pirates theme than 2015's Pirates reboot. I loved everything about Tiger Widow Island. If you'd like to give Ninjago Skybound a shot, Tiger Widow Island makes for an excellent introduction to the theme.
Great, just great! Besides the Misfortune's Keep, this is definitely my favorite set *AS OF NOW* from the Skybound series. Price : For 450 pieces, the price is pretty good. Build : The build is excellent in my personal opinion. I love the way you designers used pieces in this set, examples are the golden Chima Wings, the Drill, Head and helmet on the Tiger Widow, and much more! This is obviously not a 'detailed' review, but it's a few things I wanted to say... I'm sure many, many LEGO Ninjago Fans will enjoy this set and will be satisfied with the purchase, like me. Sorry if I 'mistyped' anything also.
Ninjago fans will enjoy using LEGO Ninjago Tiger Widow Island along with their imaginations to recreate and roleplay epic battle scenes from the TV show.
Best Ninjago set I own, Lego needs to make more environment based sets like this. I Like the whole set in general but the temple with the cave under it has to be the best part of it.
Considering the stylish minifigs, interesting weapons, the beautiful Japanese screen, and the plant pieces, I feel confident recommending this set.
