Great set at a great price ($20). The builds were fun and the minifigures are awesome. A great addition to Garmadon's army!

This is a great small set to get 4 minifigures, 2 of which are unique. The great small builds save this set from being mediocre. The defective or lacklustre printing on Lady Iron Dragon is really a shame.

For what you get in this set, for AU $29.99 it's a fantastic price. There are some fantastic parts that make up for a highly visually appealing set. The build process is enjoyable, and it's fun to play with. This set is incredibly affordable and has a lot of potential. Builders of MOCs with an Asian theme might want to snap up a few copies of this set.

When they revealed Lady Iron Dragon in the Movie, I was really excited for getting a mini figure. The face print is so terrible I can barely see the face.

That concludes my look at 70629 Pirahna Attack! Honestly… I am kind of underwhelmed. The builds are okay – Pirahna mech is cute but rickshaw is too oversized – and minifigure selection could definitely have been better. The price is mediocre and playability is too. You can afford to pass on this if you like.

Misako's face is an oversight that will tinge 70629 Piranha Attack's otherwise amazing value for some (still, far better to be disappointed in Misako in this set than in the £80 70632 Quake Mech, for example). If you can look past that, though, there's a whole lot to love, including a more than worthy addition to the Shark Army in the piranha mech, and another great additional build depicting everyday life in NINJAGO City. For £15, there's not a lot to argue with.

Despite the confusing mix of minifigures and poorly printed face on Lady Iron Dragon, the is one of the best of the smaller LEGO NINAJGO Movie sets. The rickshaw make great use of parts and is fun to build, but the Piranha Mech is by far the best part of the whole set. It looks great, it's really fun to build, it uses parts in a fantastic way and has a few simple but fun play features. It's also one of the sets which is great for parts should you be one of those MOC builders out there who likes to bulk up their parts collection with interesting elements.

This is a brilliant set. I love the unusual design of the Piranha Mech and the pulled rickshaw includes an exceptional level of detail given its small size. The spread of minifigures is also very satisfying as Ray is currently exclusive to this set while Lady Iron Dragon only appears elsewhere in the much larger 70632 Quake Mech. Kai and the Shark Army Thug are less interesting as both are found in several other sets but they are ideal for play.
