9 year old loved this LEGO. Had some difficulty building due to the fragility of certain portions. Especially when playing with it which is kind of the whole point of the ninja go legos.
I got this early at toys r us! I was just going to get a set from the movie, when I saw this and bought it! I think that this set is very good, the figures are great and Killows bike is much larger in real life than it aappears on the box! The only problem I have with this set is that the Printing on the alternate face for Samurai X was very light, and I could hardly see the details on the forehead. Overall I really appreciate this set and think that it was fun to build and had a good price to part ratio!
I quite like Killow's half of the set and Jay, but I think Samurai X's half of the set is pretty poor. The bike itself has great details, scales pretty well to Killow, and looks menacing, while Samurai X's mech doesn't look great, with the stubby arms and strange legs. Meanwhile, despite Killow and Jay being undoubtedly good figures, Samurai X's lack of depth in her body printing ruins the figure. The price is alright in New Zealand but slightly pricey elsewhere.
It's another good set with features that weren't first apparent to me, so I've really enjoyed discovering them along the way. The star for me is Killow, followed closely by the chopper itself. Mechs come and go and it's good to see some effort has been put in to make this one as interesting as possible on the budget.
