It was everything I wanted it to be! Its LEGOs! Its about Ninjago! What else can you ask for!? Best of all it comes with 4 characters. My son loves the little guys: carries them all over the place in his pockets. Value for money?...Honestly dont remember how much I paid, but it brought joy to my son. Sturdiness?...Its LEGOs...Theres nothing sturdy about them, but thats kind of the point
I got this mainly for the minifigures but the build is better then I thought. I love the jail cell. It also comes with Skylor, who is pretty rare to get. Harumi: 10/10!!! This minifigure is amazing! The hair is so cool. She also has a double sided face which is rare for an antagonist. I love her outfit with the spikes. Skylor: 9/10! This figure is exclusive to this set. I just don't understand why it has shurikens and the shoulder armor, both are never in season 9 anyway. Nya: 9/10! Oni titan would make more sense. Nya never wore her hood in the season. Anyway, it's a cool minifigure. Samurai X: 8/10! Well, I like the figure, but I wasn't excited to get it thanks to killow vs samurai x, I also hate that it doesn't have the hair piece. Lloyd: 9/10!!! Cooooool!! I just wish they captured him in season 9. Anyway! This is a great set. If you want a lot of minifigures, get this set.
The only downsides to Throne Room Showdown are its lack of brick-built substance and that it really only caters to fans of the show. Otherwise, it looks great, comes with awesome Minifigures, and is a good value even at full price.
These mini Ninjago sets are full of action, not to mention weapons. There's the stud and projectile shooting Destiny's Wing and a full armory of weapons included in the Throne Room Showdown (I think I counted 16?), that will keep kids engaged and battling in the fight of good versus evil.
I love the minifigures – all five are great and none of them are filler at all. The build is a bit lacking, but isn't really meant to be the main attraction of the set, I guess. Playability is not bad, due to the five minifigures included, though the build itself doesn't offer much in terms of play. I feel like the build doesn't really justify the price but I think the inclusion of five minifigures does.
