The multiple figures and vehicles in this set gives kids everything they need for all the Ninjago adventures that they can imagine.
My son had an absolute blast putting this Mech Dragon together. It was a fairly challenging build and outside his age range (he's 6), but he only sought consultation on a couple of tricky spots and was right back in it. The Dragon is really cool looking and has some fun moving parts on it. The vehicle and minifigs round out the set and leave lots of room for play.
The MechDragon is a decent set, with good pieces, great figures, some fun play features, and an awesome robotic dragon design. Lloyd and Garmadon are outmatched, but their car makes for an adequate ride and doesn't look too pathetic for a secondary vehicle. The MechDragon itself is massive, which can be a bit bothersome for posability, but it looks awesome and has fun play features from the saw blades to the blunt shooter to the tail.
