Three minifigures in this set represent two battling factions with the hero, Zane, fighting against the Nindroids. Kids will have a blast coming up with all sorts of adventures involving the battling foes and this "lethal" mech.
This lego set is well made with easy to follow instructions. My 6 year old son enjoyed building this set and playing with this toy. He liked the rapid fire shooter and chopping blades. Building the set kept him quite busy and he felt a sense of accomplishment when he was finished. My son has used Lego products for 2 years now and loves them. He likes to open a new box and take out the bags and instruction manual. Receiving an Amazon package in the mail is always a highlight when we order toys for him. The Lego Ninjago Rebooted set meets my expectations as a parent because it allows my son to think critically when building the set.
All together the Desctructoid and figures are a great combination. There is a lot of fun to be had with the set, even though it does seem like an unfair fight. Suuuuuure I'm part robot myself and could take these two with a hand behind my back, it would have been cool to have a ship of some sort. Comparatively, the Thunder Raider set contained both Cole and Jay with a whopping 334 pieces for $29.99 USD, whereas Desctructoid only has 253 pieces for $34.99. It would have been cool for a little bit more to be included in the set. Overall it is a good buy regardless, and offers up some fun times.
