On the whole, I would said this is a remarkable release despite of the disappointing distribution ratio of 2 complete sets in a sealed box which resulted in a large number of spares of other characters.
Edna is just okay to me, as a minifigure, she isn't the most exciting out of this series, and arguably one of the weaker minifigs in Series 2. She's good, just not outstanding in any way.
I thought this item would come as pictured And not as pieces of a puzzle... Up on further inquiry the pieces weren't the quality that the advertised picture details. I didn't like the differences at all !! Thank you so much.
The lasting impression I have from them is that the character designs are largely excellent, but some of the accessories leave a bit wanting, especially in comparison to other CMF waves. There's no doubt if these sell well that we'll see more Disney minifigures down the road (and who are we kidding, these will fly off the shelves).
For the most part, they're brilliant, and I can't wait to see some MOCs with them included. These will go crazy, given they're Disney, and so I'm relatively sure these will result in a series 3 Disney CMFs.
The most distinctive feature of this minifigure is certainly its new hair piece though. This black element looks great and matches the design from the LEGO The Incredibles video game, featuring a large pair of glasses and simple texture. The printed eyes appear slightly odd but I imagine including trans-clear lenses would have been extremely difficult. Her double-sided head is decorated with a surly expression and a smile.
Overall I find this collection quite interesting: some figures are elaborate, while others are quite plain, but in either case this suits the depiction of the characters in their respective film or television appearances. Overall it is quite strong.
I quite enjoyed the first series of LEGO Disney Minifigures, but I have to say when the second series was first revealed I didn't think much of the character line-up. But once seeing them up close I actually quite like them.
The LEGO Disney Series 2 Collectible Minifigures (71024) is a mixed bag for me but it does include a lot of good characters that fans would want. Again my favorite is Scrooge McDuck but there's a few others that I do enjoy such as Hades and Jack. However, there's also a few characters that are somewhat lazy on LEGO's part including Mickey and Minnie along with Huey, Dewey, and Louie and the chipmunks.
