I have ordered from Brick Dudes a few times now and each time the products were as described and just what I wanted. They are great if you are trying to get the full mini figure series without the hassle of going through them by yourself for a great value. On my most recent purchase, I received two of the same mini figures, meaning I got 15/16 of the complete set with a double mini figure. After contacting the seller, they were quick to respond and they were quick to send me the replacement for the missing mini figure. Great product and amazing customer service for listening to their customers and fixing the mistake. Will be ordering next series from them for sure! 👍
The LEGO CMFs Series 19 is a nice traditional CMFs design and it is nice to see a change of pace. Seeing this brand new 16 designs of Series 19, there are 11 City related minifigures including costume fellows, 4 historical/fantasy/mythical minifigures and 1 sci-fiction minifigure. As you can see, this new Series 19 is a city-focused theme. While I am slightly disappointed that minifigures had largely restricted on City landscape, but the new additional designs and new molds are welcoming additions to our ever-growing LEGO collection.
All up, I'm really happy with this series. Despite a few misses like the Programmer and Fire Fighter, I really enjoyed just how much fun the designers seem to be having with the characters and elements introduced.
Overall the Series 19 LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71025) is another wave that proves why this theme is a successful one year in and year out.
It's good to get another regular, non-themed series of Collectible Minifigures again, spreading across all walks of life. Not every figure in Series 19 is a sure-fire winner in my book (if I weren't reviewing it, I'd never go out of my way to pick up the Firefighter, Bear Costume Guy, or Rugby Player, for instance), but the majority of the characters are figures I want in my collection, some of them multiple times over.
I found the overall tone for the series less coherent than for previous series. I feel every figure is pretty good, and some are downright excellent. The theme or category for the figures is consistent with previous themes. But the accessories are inconsistent.
71025 Collectable Minifigures Series 19 exemplifies why traditional series of Collectable Minifigures remain successful, nearly ten years after their introduction. The range of varied characters is superb and I think this selection provides something that should appeal to everyone, encompassing generic minifigures that could reside within LEGO City alongside more fantastical designs.
Collectable Minifigures have become increasingly detailed since their launch during 2010 and 71025 Collectable Minifigures Series 19 demonstrates continued improvement, based upon the first several characters. The proliferation of dual-moulded elements and unique accessories is impressive and an excellent range of subjects appear within the latest series.
I really like all the new elements especially the animals like the flamingo and cameleon. Which is why these original IP series are good, they can be a little more creative without being tied to a license.
Of the first 8 Minifigures from Series 19, the stand out for me is definitely the Monkey King. He looks amazing, has some great detailing especially his cheeky face. The Video Game Champ is a strong second, especially his amazing shirt. The Bounty Hunter is a little disappointing, due to the differing colours but it still looks quite cool.
