I've had a great time playing with Jake and LSP. They have entertaining dialog and I like leaving them on the toypad just to have the characters around during play. LSP doesn't fly. She does belch rainbows and throws her phone. Jake does any number of transforms, and I haven't worked out how to use them. It would be great to have an in game tutorial to showcase his talents. BMO is dear to me. Great dialogue and the portal for fun mindless minigames to get minikits. I would have preferred to have BMO in a mini-fig scale for display, and hope that LEGO will make a set with such a figure. So far as the LSP car. I just can't even--it turned into a whale thing that hops around like a grasshopper. I have no idea what to do with it, but it is fun and that is enough.
The Level Pack is of course the must-buy, but anyone who is an Adventure Time fan will also want to own the characters in this Team Pack – both for the nice, physical minifigures and the fun in-game characters. If you've never seen the show, this acts as a great introduction as to what you can expect with regards to the characters and stories.
This set is a lot of fun, and I was also fairly surprised that I enjoyed the Lumpy Car variant builds – I did not expect the build to contain some pretty neat techniques and it was rather enjoyable if short.
