Zane's Titan Mech Battle inspired a sense of awe in me. That says something considering I was uninterested with the concept beforehand. I want to display this set in my LEGO® room. It is just cool. Additionally, the kit is a great value even at full price. The only negative is the small number of Minifigures.

Very satisfying build, we built together with my son, the mech is sturdy enough to use as an everyday toy.

LEGO has produced countless different mechs during recent years, many of which include magnificent detail and convey unique personality. 71738 Zane's Titan Mech Battle definitely achieves those feats and has instantly become one of my favourite LEGO mechs, potentially rivalling the excellent 70676 Lloyd's Titan Mech! Of course, this rendition is distinguished from Lloyd's impressive vehicle by its improved articulation.

71738 Zane's Titan Mech is so well put together it's almost over-designed. The intricate nature of the bodywork, the clever parts usage throughout and an ingenious build solution for the knees are all factors that by themselves would be enough to make this set worthy of its price and of adding to the NINJAGO collection.

The LEGO Ninjago Zane's Titan Mech Battle (71738) is my favorite set out of the 2021 wave. Not only does it look really good, it has lots of poseability due to all of the different joints used including the double ball joint system on the knees. The minifigures are just icing on the cake at this point for me. I will say that if the LEGO Ideas Voltron (21311) wasn't released, this mech would have been my favorite mech that LEGO has released.

This is a great set. You should buy it. The only thing I don't care for is the way Zane sits inside the mech - and you can't even SEE that when he's in it. It's rare for me to just say "go out and buy this" but that's where I'm at. This set is fantastic.

There's a lot to enjoy with this set. At $60 US for 840 pieces, this set comes in at a healthy seven cents per part. That's a good ratio in general, and in this case, it also includes four exclusive minifigures. There's a good range of useful and unusual parts, and even the stickers are pretty nifty. The build is fun, with enough technical complexity to keep things interesting. On the downside, the play features are a little minimal, and I'm still kind of irked about the cockpit design. But those are minor quibbles for an otherwise spectacular set.
