As you'd expect for a set this size, there are many play functions. Some work better than others and the track is a bit sticky - you can't get much speed up in the cart as it doesn't travel under its own momentum - but perhaps it flows more freely when repeated play wears down the friction of wheel and track. Still, it's a lot of fun and the play functions are generally faithful to the movie - it's very enjoyable to reenact your favourite scenes.
